The structure is inserted in very particular geographic realities and will allow you to live in contact with nature, rediscover lost sensations, savor forgotten atmospheres, but above all to recover energy!  
5km from the village of Valtournenche. 

It is a recently renovated hut, far from the usual itineraries, designed for those who love silence, peace and unspoiled nature. The basin that houses it is full of enchanting views, green pastures at high altitudes, thick woods and the visitor finds himself immersed in an atmosphere suspended in time. 

Those who stop at "L'Ancienne Bergerie" rediscover in it the magical atmosphere of the united valley to all the comforts and at the same time a rustic environment, with attention to detail in family management.

The warmth that "L'Ancienne Bergerie" transmits is unparalleled: one cannot help but feel at home, not feel the sense of familiarity, of lived traditions that are still bright ... All the rooms are well exposed to the sun and enjoy a breathtaking panorama. Each room has private bathroom and independent breakfast corner.The hut includes a wooden part (old barn with an old barn merged) and a stone part below (ancient sheepfold, hence the name Ancienne Bergerie).
The village of Valtournenche is located at the foot of the hut and all rooms overlook the Matterhorn, better known as Monte Cervino or Gran Becca. It is 4478 m high, one of the most famous peaks in the history of romantic and modern mountaineering.

The head office is located at the "Le Petit Nid" B&B: A5 motorway to the Châtillon exit, then regional road to Valtournenche (the B&B is located in the center of the village in Fraz. Evette, 15). We will take you there. hut!

Only for true lovers of unspoiled nature

The Ancienne Bergerie can be reached by car even if the last 80mt are on a dirt road. To fully experience the adventure in the hut, many of our guests prefer to do these last meters on foot, armed with a torch, under the suggestive blanket of stars; it is a place untouched by light pollution, ideal for astrology enthusiasts.
In the Aosta Valley, during the winter there is an obligation to move with snow tires or chains on board.
The chalet is dotted with warm details. A careful and refined choice of colors: red and green, traditional shades, create intimate atmospheres, imbued with intimate familiarity.
Each room: an environment, an inspiration. Generous rooms furnished with the simplicity that distinguishes mountain people. They are in close contact with the surrounding nature as well as the materials used, the local wood and stone.
